The Sunrise Wayfinder rehousing program effectively bridges the gap between crisis and stability. Through early intervention, we partner with individuals and families actively seeking their own housing options. With close collaboration with clients, we provide crucial financial assistance to cover move-in costs once housing is secured, eliminating barriers that often hinder their journey out of homelessness.
About
The Sunrise Wayfinder rehousing program began as a pilot in 2022, thanks to generous private donations. After over two years of gathering data on cost-effectiveness, Sunrise has evolved into a cornerstone of our organization. Through a “no wrong door” approach, we provide early intervention, diversion, rapid-exit, and homelessness prevention services to households facing imminent risk of homelessness or currently experiencing it.

Meet the Sunrise Wayfinder team at the Sunrise Hub (4430 Menchaca Rd, Austin, TX 78745) where services are offered Monday through Friday - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Our lines start forming at 8:00 am and services begin at 9:00 am.
