Amplify Home
Too many Austin children are going to sleep tonight without a safe home.
On October 21st, Sunrise is proud to participate in Amplify Home—a day of action to raise awareness and funding to support unhoused families and kids kids in the Austin area.
No one can tackle family homelessness alone. That’s why Amplify Home is bringing together some of Austin’s most dedicated nonprofits, all working to give families and kids the stability of home

2025 SUNRISE SHINDIG
The 2025 Sunrise Shindig brings together our community’s fiercest advocates, volunteers, and supporters as Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center envisions a community where people experiencing homelessness have innovative, whole-person solutions to address the whole-person trauma of being unsheltered.
Point in Time Count
Join Sunrise for the bi-annual PIT Count to help track the number of people experiencing homelessness in Austin and Travis County.
Sign-up to go out with a team of trained volunteers on the morning of Sunday, January 26th.
Afterwards we’ll gather together for breakfast at Snooze!
About
The PIT Count is a critical survey conducted every other year to understand and track the number of people experiencing homelessness in Austin and Travis County. It’s how we contribute to the national effort to end homelessness.
This is your chance to make a real impact in our community. Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO) is recruiting 1,200+ volunteers for this important effort.
Sunrise will be leading three teams and two shifts:
Sunday, January 26th - 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM
Sunday, January 26th - 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM

Sunrise Celebration + Mark’s Birthday Bash
Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center's 3rd Annual Sunrise Celebration + Mark’s Birthday Bash is on Thursday, October 23rd at Drifters Social Coffee & Cocktail from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Join our amazing volunteers, dedicated staff, and valued supporters as we celebrate recent milestones and unveil exciting plans to expand our services, helping even more clients find housing in the coming year.
Plus, our fearless leader, Mark, whose commitment and passion have inspired us all will be celebrating another turn around the sun.
Stop by and enjoy delicious refreshments, engaging conversations, and the joy of collaboration as together we empower people experiencing homelessness.

Summer Movie Night
Join Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center, N.I.C.E Project, and Texas Harm Reduction Alliance for a special summer movie night sponsored by the delicious tea brand, CLEAN!
Enjoy an exclusive screening of Johnny Knoxville's new movie, Sweet Dreams. This inspiring film follows a group of men living in a sober home as they participate in a softball tournament to save their residence—an event you won't want to miss!

CLEAN is generously providing free drinks and Lesser Evil Popcorn for all attendees.
Tickets are free, but we encourage you to RSVP to ensure we have enough refreshments and seating for everyone.
While the event is free, a suggested donation of $15+ to one of our participating organizations is greatly appreciated. Plus, when you donate you'll be entered to win a door prize!
Each organization will have an informational table with swag, QR codes and fundraising links at the event.
