Client Services Specialist
This part-time position oversees food service logistics, volunteer coordination, inventory management, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The Coordinator works closely with volunteers, staff, and community partners to ensure meal service operations run smoothly, supporting the organization’s mission to serve the community. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities in mailroom support and community engagement efforts.

Accounts Payable Payroll Specialist
This part-time position helps keep everything running smoothly by making sure our team members and vendors get paid accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with the Director of Finance to review timesheets, process payroll in Rippling, code and approve expenses, process ACH payments, and make sure costs are matched to the right contract or funding source. If you enjoy organized systems, clean spreadsheets, and helping a mission-driven team stay on track financially, this role is for you!

Hotline Assessor
This part-time position will serve as the first point of contact for individuals experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness. You will conduct hotline and text-based assessments, providing compassionate support, gathering relevant information, and making referrals to appropriate homeless services and resources. Your role is crucial in ensuring accessibility to housing assessments and facilitating the connection between individuals in need and available support services.

Sunrise Internships
Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center offers internships for students pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work, Marketing, Communication, and Non-Profit Management degrees. We currently partner with Texas State University, The Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas Austin, St. Edward’s University, Baylor University, and more!
