Eviction Prevention Case Manager-Upstream
The Housing Stabilization Case Manager provides individualized, trauma-informed case management to households at risk of eviction or housing instability through the Upstream Together Collaborative, a partnership between Sunrise, El Buen Samaritano, and LifeWorks.
Case Managers work closely with clients to prevent homelessness by conducting assessments, creating stabilization plans, coordinating financial assistance, and linking households to supportive services such as legal aid, healthcare, and employment.

Community Housing Navigator
The Community Housing Navigator Program Manager plays a pivotal role in our mission to provide stable and supportive housing solutions to individuals experiencing homelessness. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing and managing the Housing Assessment and Case Management Program, with a focus on facilitating clients' eligibility for Permanent Supportive Housing and Community First Village, as well as expediting the housing placement process.

Shelter Case Manager
The Part-Time Shelter case manager is responsible for providing compassionate and holistic support to individuals experiencing homelessness. This role collaborates with our partner shelter organization to complete housing navigation tasks, primarily but not limited to managing a caseload of people experiencing homelessness who reside in the Southbridge shelter. The case management will include the completion of coordinated housing assessments, diversion/rapid exit, goal setting, resource coordination and assisting clients and shelter staff in navigating housing referrals to community partners
Sunrise Internships
Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center offers internships for students pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work, Marketing, Communication, and Non-Profit Management degrees. We currently partner with Texas State University, The Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas Austin, St. Edward’s University, Baylor University, and more!
