  • Director of Finance

    This full-time role will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health and stability of Sunrise. This leadership position will require a strategic thinker who can manage multiple government contracts, private donor contributions, foundation grants, payroll, financial reporting, future forecasting, and budgeting while collaborating with the Executive Team to ensure Sunrise remains financially sound while fulfilling our mission.

  • Mobile Assessor

    This full-time position will support the Sunrise Mobile outreach team with coordinated housing assessments and daily tasks. This role ensures that high-quality, integrated care and services are provided to clients in the field. This position will triage, assess, and navigate people experiencing homelessness who live in camps. The mobile outreach team strives to reach people who might otherwise not access services and provide referrals to existing programs at Sunrise and in the CoC.

  • Wayfinder Family Specialist

    This full-time position serves as a crucial contact for individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness, conducting housing assessments, evaluating Diversion eligibility, and coordinating resources to help clients exit homelessness. You will oversee the Wayfinder program, ensuring compliance with policies and collaborating with property managers, hosts, and internal teams to secure successful outcomes. In partnership with AISD Project Help, you will support family homelessness initiatives, acting as the primary contact for families at the Sunrise Hub and providing relevant resources and referrals, with a focus on families with children experiencing homelessness.

  • Digital Connector

    This full-time position of Digital Connector. This role will play a crucial part in the implementation of a digital access initiative aimed at empowering households living below the poverty line in Travis County. The Digital Connector will oversee the establishment and management of a fully supported computer lab, device charging program, and one-on-one digital skills coaching.

  • Hub Assessor

    This part-time position serves as a vital link in our mission to provide comprehensive support to individuals experiencing homelessness or those at risk. You will conduct Coordinated Housing Assessments, provide referrals, and ensure data accuracy within the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).     This part-time position is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, including assisting clients in securing permanent housing and managing their housing vouchers.

  • Coordinated Entry Specialist

    This part-time position will utilize Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) reports and program work statements to monitor staff performance across multiple programs. This position will work closely with program managers to ensure their teams maintain accurate and thorough data entry, conduct consistent data clean-up, and meet programmatic metrics.

  • Volunteer Coordinator

    This part-time position is responsible for the recruitment, training, scheduling, and retention efforts for individual and group volunteers across the Sunrise system, including but not limited to the Sunrise Cafe, Sunrise Shop, Sunrise Mail, Sunrise Hotline, and Sunrise special events. Additionally, this position will coordinate in-kind donations and speaking requests from community partners, individuals, and faith-based groups while ensuring excellent data tracking.

You will conduct hotline and text-based assessments, providing compassionate support, gathering relevant information, and making referrals to appropriate homeless services and resources.     This part-time position ensures smooth facility operations by managing maintenance, vendor relationships, safety protocols, and budgeting. Key responsibilities include supply management, data tracking, reporting, and overseeing a comprehensive food and supply program.

  • PRN Screener

    This part-time position is responsible for inputting accurate and timely data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and serving clients with compassion and efficiency while ensuring all interactions are documented and that data integrity is maintained. This flexible role involves working across multiple teams including the Sunrise Hub day center, Sunrise Mobile and Shelter outreach teams, and Sunrise Hotline call center.

Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center offers internships for students pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work, Marketing, Communication, and Non-Profit Management degrees.
