The Sunrise Lab is a free computer lab that provides 1x1 personalized assistance with digital services, device charging, and more! Our full-time Digital Connector helps clients with basic computer skills and internet navigation while helping them achieve their wellness and housing goals.
Clients can get support with searching for housing, finding a job, applying for public benefits, making appointments online, and more!
About
The Sunrise Lab was launched in 2024 as part of a Digital Equity initiative across Texas. By providing full-time staff, free internet, device charging and storage, and free connectivity devices, Sunrise is empowering people experiencing homelessness and at risk of homelessness to actively work towards their wellness and housing goals. This expansion supports our innovative approach to help clients self-resolve their homelessness as an alternative to solely relying on housing waiting lists for a solution.
Hours of Operation
The Sunrise Lab is located inside the Sunrise Hub (4430 Menchaca Rd, Austin, TX 78745) services are offered
Monday through Friday - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Our lines start forming at 8:00 am and services begin at 9:00 am.
