Sunrise Stories: Meet Terry

When Michelle from the Sunrise Mobile outreach team met Terry, he and his fur baby were living on the streets with nowhere to go.

Terry had no idea that he was eligible for housing assistance…let alone that he had already been accepted!

Michelle called Terry’s case manager at Downtown Austin Community Court and he came to pick up Terry on the spot.

Now on their way to safe and stable housing, Terry and his fur baby are a testament to the Sunrise magic of meeting people where they are.
