Give hope

All season long, you are helping Sunrise to spread joy!

For Paula and Anna, their holiday is filled with laughter, joy, and family time. But with the gift of hope, you can spread that joy to hundreds of others.

After Paula's husband was incarcerated, she and her children were forced to live in their car. Although the family qualified for federal housing benefits, they couldn't afford the rent.

At the Sunrise Hub, Paula felt hope when a Sunrise navigator shared that she was eligible for our diversion services!

Sunrise quickly paid the family’s move-in expenses and negotiated with the landlord for a Thanksgiving day move-in date just a few days later.

Anna has faced housing instability since she was 18 years old.

She lived in a shelter for seven months before moving in with her family. However, her living situation with her family became unsafe, leading her to seek hope from Sunrise's Hotline call center.

Through our diversion services, Anna connected with a friend in a city nearby. Sunrise helped her coordinate with the friend’s family to secure a safe place to stay and paid for her bus ticket.

Anna was in her new home surrounded by a support system in less than 24 hours!

No one should be alone during the holidays.

Sunrise has diverted more than 348 families from living on the streets this year. Will you help us spread joy to the next 100 families?

P.S. Don’t forget when you make a gift today, it will be matched up to $25,000, thanks to an anonymous Sunrise supporter!
